The author's photographs are well matched to the passion of her poetry. A perfect read full of thoughtful, deep, and beautiful seaside connections. Tara's love for her son comes sparkling through in "Child of the Sea".
Really a great collection of nautically inspired poems. The Illustrations that accompany each poem are beautiful in their own right and often subtle in their relationship to the poem across the page. This adds to the thoughtful depth of each piece.
I highly recommend "Poetry By The Sea" to anyone with an interest in beaches, boats, the sea shore, or (of course) poetry.
